Taking inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, Osaka based Japanese artist Wakako Kawakami has installed giant textile budgies in various locations.
Kawakami explained that her reason for using parrots was in an attempt to express life, and from a fantasy that her own pets were larger than life.
